This calculator uses the most common age system where age increases on a person's birthday. For example, a person who has lived for 3 years and 11 months is considered 3 years old and will turn 4 on their next birthday.

Note: Month and day calculations can sometimes be confusing, especially when dealing with month-end dates. Our calculator uses the method where we count from the exact day of birth to the same day in the current month, then add any remaining days.

Cultural Differences: Different cultures may calculate age differently. For example, in traditional Chinese age systems, people are born at age 1, and their age increases at the Chinese New Year rather than their birthday.
